Looking awfully cool in this very old photo!
I listen to 88.1/kjazz on my morning drive to work...it's a great station and I love that they play mellow jazz tunes and more so big band on the weekend mornings! They announced Herbie Hancock's birthday and I thought it'd be nice to highlight some of the great musicians, composers, singers, performers, etc from the past. Plus he's decked out in retro attire here. So, happy birthday Herbie! :)

He is! I never realized how much I enjoyed his music til I was much much older :)
